Soon to Rise: The ACE of Sugarlandia

It all started with a vision of a man believing that the doctors income is only as good as their last patient and the realization of a paradigm shift needed in the hospital industry that the Allied Care Experts Medical Centers was founded.

The conceptualization and realization of the ALLIED CARE EXPERTS MEDICAL CENTER – BACOLOD INC. started when a group of friends & batchmates from the West Visayas State University College of Medicine, Iloilo City headed by Dr. Ferjenel G. Biron, the President of the ACEMC–ILOILO INC. sent out Dr. Danilo C. Regozo, Dr. Meride D. Lavilla and Dr. Fredilyn G. Samoro to Bacolod City to reach out and invite classmates & friends to organize the group. The months of February and March of 2016 were quite busy for the group, going to and from Iloilo and Bacolod, holding meetings, until finally, Dr. Salve Regina S. Jesena and Dr. Julian Rizaldy C. Raca, Jr. of Bacolod City accepted the challenge to lead the ACEMC–BACOLOD INC.

            On March 13, 2016 the first meeting of the founders of ACEMC – BACOLOD founders was held at the 21st Restaurant in Bacolod City with the Iloilo & Manila group headed by the ACEMC Chairman Dr. Amado Manuel C. Enriquez, Jr. and President of ACEMC–ILOILO, INC. Dr. Ferjenel G. Biron. The Manila group presented the Allied Care Experts group of hospitals and how it came about.

On March 31, 2016, the meeting with Dr. Danilo C. Regozo and Dr. Meride D. Lavilla held at Bob’s Restaurant, Bacolod City sealed the local founders for the ACEMC – BACOLOD namely as follows:

After series of meetings of the local, Iloilo & Manila group, ACEMC-BACOLOD was incorporated on July 4, 2017.

Finding a location for the Medical Center was the next huge task for the founders to accomplish. After 4 prospective locations and months of meeting with the lot owners, the ACEMC – BACOLOD INC. finally acquired the strategic site located along the highway of Lacson St., beside the Ceres Northbound Terminal, Bgy. Bata, Bacolod City. On July 13, 2017 partial payment was made for the 1 hectare lot of the ACEMC-BACOLOD INC.

As the enthusiasm was building up among founders in the promotion and reservation of the common shares, a need to have an office was addressed. Blessing of the ACEMC-BACOLOD INC. Business Center located at Room 4 Ground Floor MC Metroplex Bldg., B. S. Aquino Drive, Bacolod City came on August 24, 2017, officiated by Rev. Fr. Arnold P. Deletina.

The historical and successful groundbreaking ceremony on September 10, 2017 in the future hospital site was led by the ACEMC Board Chairman Dr. Amado Manuel C. Enriquez, Jr. and ACEMC – BACOLOD INC. President Dr. Ferjenel G. Biron attended by Bacolod City Mayor Evelio R. Leonardia, Congressmen Greg G. Gasataya and Joseph Stephen S. Paduano, invited guests, investors and founding doctors.

Enormous task is expected and ahead of us but we are holding on to the vision of our founders & leaders, with dedication, faith in God and a burning passion to work together to cater to the people of Negros of their medical & health needs. Soon will rise a 250 bed capacity tertiary care medical center that is state of the art and of international standards, in the heart of Sugarlandia.
