It all started with a vision of a man believing that the doctors’ income is only as good as their last patient and the realization of a paradigm shift needed in the hospital industry that doctors should wake up, realign themselves, build and manage their own hospitals, that the Allied Care Experts Medical Centers were founded.
The conceptualization and realization of the Asia-Pacific Medical Center Bacolod, Inc. (Formerly Allied Care Experts Medical Center – Bacolod Inc.) was rather providential from the first meeting of Dr. Amado C. Enriquez, Jr. and Dr. Ferjenel G. Biron over a cup of coffee and the collaboration with a group of medical professionals from the West Visayas State University, College of Medicine, Iloilo City. Mostly classmates, friends & batchmates, that the APMC Bacolod, Inc. group was organized.
The first meeting of the founders of APMC Bacolod, Inc. on March 13, 2016 held at the 21st Restaurant in Bacolod City with the Iloilo & Manila group, headed by the ACEMC Chairman Dr. Amado Manuel C. Enriquez, Jr. and APMC Iloilo, Inc. President, Dr. Ferjenel G. Biron, was a cascade of the ACE group of hospitals and how it came about.
On March 31, 2016, the meeting headed by Dr. Danilo C. Regozo and Dr. Meride D. Lavilla of ACEMC – Iloilo Inc. at Bob’s Restaurant, Bacolod City sealed the 25 local founders of the ACEMC – Bacolod Inc.

After series of meetings of the local, Iloilo & Manila group, ACEMC – Bacolod was incorporated by the Securities & Exchange Commission in July 4, 2017.
Finding a location for the Medical Center was the next huge task for the founders to accomplish. After 4 prospective locations & months of meetings with the lot owners, the ACEMC – Bacolod Inc. finally acquired the 1-hectare lot strategically located along the highway of Lacson St., beside the Ceres Northbound Terminal, Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City.
Deed of absolute sale of the land was signed by the owner, Mrs. Maria Luisa Lizares Lacson at the Trump Tower, Makati City. Finally, on September 18, 2018 Transfer Certificate Title was granted to ACEMC – Bacolod Inc. by the Registry of Deeds and on February 5, 2020 the Department of Assessment, Bacolod City sent the Notice of Assessment of Real Property on the Conversion from Agricultural Land to Industrial Land. The lot has been fully paid.
As the enthusiasm was building up among founders in the preparation for the Groundbreaking, meetings & future activities, a need to have an office was addressed. Blessing of the ACEMC – Bacolod Inc. Business Center located at Room 4 Ground Floor MC Metroplex Bldg., BS Aquino Drive, Bacolod City came on August 24, 2017, officiated by Rev. Fr. Arnold P. Deletina. The historical and successful groundbreaking ceremony on September 10, 2017 at the future hospital site was led by the ACEMC Board Chairman, Dr. Amado Manuel C. Enriquez, Jr. and ACEMC – Bacolod Inc. President Dr. Ferjenel G. Biron, attended by Bacolod City Mayor Evelio R. Leonardia, Cong. Greg G. Gasataya, Cong. Joseph Stephen S. Paduano, Cong. Leo Rafael M. Cueva, invited guests, investors & founding doctors.
OUR MILESTONES
September - December 2017
APMC Bacolod, Inc. (formerly ACEMC Bacolod) has undergone 2 soil boring tests between September and October, and on December, the APMCBI Founders enrolled at the Cebu Doctor’s University for MAHAD.
February 23, 2018
APMC Bacolod, Inc. had been engaged with DND Atelier as the design consultant for the architectural, structural & MEPF requirements of the project.
August - October 2018
Founders & the Designers of DND Atelier Team were on their feet working on the Structural & Architectural Plans & MEPF workshop with the DOH Evaluators in preparation for the Permit to Construct Application.
January – October 2019
The Founders of APMC Bacolod, Inc. were busy on the preparation for the bidding process for the foundation bored piling & for the structural steel, on guidelines, evaluation, communication & finalization of the documents.
February 13, 2020
The Bored Piling Works for the foundation was awarded to Silver Dragon Construction at KaTunying’s, NAIA T3, engagement as GenCon for the superstructure. Pasay City.
2020 - Present
This is also the year where the outbreak of the COVID19 Pandemic began. Our Business Office had been in a skeleton mode within the months of March to June. Meanwhile, the construction phase is still on process where design plans were revised due to the health protocols, DOH and IATF guidelines that should be implemented.

APMC Bacolod, Inc. has been engaged with Unitan Construction and Development Corporation as the General Contractor and Bureau Veritas as the Project Management Team.

On May 19, DBP has granted the approval on the loan term package for APMC Bacolod, Inc. Thereafter, Contract signing of the loan agreement with DBP was held on August 11.

SEC granted the Company its Secondary License (IPO, Permit to Sell Securities).
October 23, 2023
APMC Bacolod, Inc. is now registered with the Philippine Board of Investments (BOI) as a New Operator of General Hospital Level 2 under Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises Act and the Omnibus Investments Code of 1987.
